Famous 712 AP2 Irons, Your Best Choice

I am looking for new  titleist 712 ap2 irons . Acushnet says the feedback it receives during this validation process influences the design and specifications of the Titleist products available in golf shops around the world. Titleist has long used “700’’ numbers for irons for a long time. It uses 900 numbers for metal woods. The “7” stands for irons, while the “12” stands for the new model year, 2012. No word yet on when the 712 AP2 irons is available at retail.

The titleis 712 AP2 irons, which are designed for low handicappers, Titleist has significantly increased the club's moment of inertia by re-positioning tungsten weight within the heads. The overall goal was to better apply the different materials used in the design. "We've updated the cosmetics with a new satin chrome finish," McGinley said. "We've also updated the sole design of the MB, taking a little bit off the trailing edge because the guy playing that club—a small blade, pure muscle back—is looking for crisp turf contact."

The titleist 712 ap2 is technically advanced blades that provide increased forgiveness without sacrificing shot workability while combining traditional blade length and sole width with a more efficient multi-material weight distribution. Great looks, sound, feel forgiveness and workability. Refine your game with the new AP2 irons.

Titleist wanted to improve distance control and achieve a more consistent ball speed with the 712 AP2 irons. The golf set has a more square profile than before, a feature specifically requested by Titleist's Tour players. A forged carbon steel head is aided by a high-density tungsten weight, creating increased playability. This was done by increasing the MOI by 7%, without impacting workability or control. A dual cavity design pushes weight to the perimeter for playability without losing the ability to shape shots. Titleist has also improved the control and turf interaction by reducing the sole bounce and adding a smaller sole width on the 8-iron, 9-iron and PW.
